Youth Gambling Behavior Survey
Despite nation-leading strategies in place to prevent underage gambling, the activity finds a way into high schools and teenage social circles within the state. Understanding that youth frequently disengage and are unresponsive to being lectured to, it’s important to empower them instead.
This Problem Gambling Awareness Month of 2026, Playwise encourages parents, guardians, and educators to share the following with youth in their households and communities. And if you’re a young person who may have already started gambling, we encourage you to complete the survey as well.
The goal is to spread awareness about where a problem may exist, which can lead to a caring and supportive conversation about gambling behavior.
Do you know someone who may need help? this with them.
Youth Gambling Check-In
A quick, private way for young people to reflect on gambling behaviors.
This short, anonymous survey helps youth better understand their experiences and relationship with gambling.
Parents, guardians, and educators are encouraged to share this with youth during Problem Gambling Awareness Month (#PGAM2026) to help start supportive conversations.

Your Results
Your responses suggest gambling may not currently be a concern. That’s a positive sign. Staying aware of how gambling can affect school, friendships, and other activities can help you continue making healthy choices.
If you ever feel pressured to gamble or notice it becoming more important than other activities, consider talking with a trusted adult such as a parent, teacher, coach, or school counselor.
There is a strong possibility that you may have an unhealthy relationship with gambling. We encourage you to approach a parent, a trusted adult family member, or a school counselor to talk about it. Together, you can connect to a state-approved therapist who specializes in family counseling for problem gambling.
If you ever want to talk to someone, free and confidential help is available through Playwise. You can reach Florida’s official gambling helpline anytime at 1-833-PLAYWISE (1-833-752-9947).
